- WTF!! Mmmm, yeah, you can tell by my blond hair, blue eyes and white skin.* Actually I'm just a little bit tanned, it's summer, you know?
-How does it come?
-My family immigrated to Mexico during the Missile Crisis. This is the stroy: When the Bolshevik Revolution took place many people (family members included) kept secret in the frozen woods of Russia in order to avoid being killed by communists.
They survived eating cows eyeballs and milk, it is because of their contribution to our survival that cows are sacred in my religion.
As years went by, family find their way to Cuba, drinking mojitos, smoking cigars and taking care of cows. During the 60s, Cuban authorities stated that my family seemed to be involved in conspiracies against Communism, for the fact that our parties were used as a meeting point by the contras. The only solution: request political asylum in Mexico.
Nowadays, we are linked to a myth of Mexican mafia and I'm trying to bring some of that to Canada.
